Terms & Conditions
Please read this document before purchasing an ARA service. Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms without limiting any statutory rights that apply to you.
By purchasing a service or package from ARA – Australia Travel Plan (a trading name used by Arjola Ara, based in London, United Kingdom), the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice.
1. Nature and scope of the service
ARA – Australia Travel Plan provides practical, strategic and personalised online support for people considering, preparing for or already living an Australian experience — including work & travel, departure planning, arrival and settling, practical organisation and career development.
Services may include free resources, interview preparation and the Essentials, Strategy and Zero Stress packages. Depending on the service purchased, ARA may support planning, budgeting, city choice, timelines and priorities; job-search strategy; CV, LinkedIn profile, cover letter and interview preparation; labour-market orientation; accommodation and first steps; practical information on SIMs, bank accounts, TFN, Medicare and superannuation; materials, checklists, roadmaps and post-arrival support where included.
General information about visas, visa conditions, specified work or other migration requirements is provided only to help clients identify official sources and qualified professional support. ARA does not provide personalised migration advice.
2. No guarantee of outcomes
ARA provides organisation, personalisation, strategy, support and time saved. ARA does not guarantee specific outcomes, including a visa or visa extension, employment, sponsorship, accommodation, permanent residency, salary, savings, timelines or other personal or financial results. Final decisions and actions remain the client’s responsibility.
3. Prices, payment and confirmation
The applicable price is the price shown on the website or payment page at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, ARA payments are made in GBP (British pounds). Any currency conversion or charges applied by the client’s bank or payment provider are outside ARA’s control.
Payments are processed through Stripe. The client receives a payment confirmation and/or receipt after purchase. Paid services do not begin until payment is confirmed.
4. Start, delivery and cooperation
Unless otherwise stated, ARA aims to begin the service within 7 working days after the client has completed onboarding and supplied the information or materials needed. Timing may vary depending on the service, agreed availability and the client’s circumstances.
Delays caused by incomplete information, requested changes, lack of response or client availability may pause or move agreed timelines.
5. Client responsibilities
The client agrees to provide accurate and current information, cooperate reasonably, verify regulated decisions through official sources or qualified professionals, and use ARA materials for personal use only. The service is built around the information supplied by the client.
6. Cancellation rights and refunds
These Terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law. For distance contracts, where UK consumer law applies, a consumer may have a 14-day period in which to cancel the contract without giving a reason.
If the client expressly asks ARA to begin a service during that cancellation period and later cancels before the service is complete, ARA may retain or charge an amount proportionate to work actually performed, where permitted by law. If the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following the client’s express request to begin and the required acknowledgement, the cancellation right may end where the law provides.
Digital content supplied immediately is subject to the specific rules that apply to digital content, including any express consent and acknowledgement required for immediate access.
To exercise a cancellation right, the client can send a clear statement to hello@aratravelplan.it. This does not affect any additional rights relating to services that are not as agreed or are not performed with reasonable care and skill.
7. Privacy and personal data
ARA – Australia Travel Plan processes personal data needed to manage enquiries, purchases and services. This may include name, email, phone number, CV and professional information, goals and preferences, onboarding responses, communications, appointments, materials and task progress.
Purposes and lawful bases. Personal data is used mainly to take steps requested before a contract and to perform the client contract; to meet legal obligations where applicable; and, where relevant, for legitimate interests such as administration, security and operational improvement, balanced against the individual’s rights. Where a particular activity requires consent, consent will be requested separately.
Tools and recipients. Data may be processed through providers needed to deliver the service, such as Stripe, Notion, Google, Calendly, WhatsApp and email providers. Payment data is handled by Stripe. ARA shares only what is necessary and does not sell personal data.
My Australia Journey. The client portal may store onboarding information, roadmaps, tasks, appointments, CVs, personalised materials and service communications. Clients should not upload passports, identity documents or other highly sensitive information unless specifically requested and necessary.
Retention and international transfers. Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for applicable legal, accounting or rights-protection requirements. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where required, ARA uses providers and transfer mechanisms designed to comply with applicable data-protection law.
Your rights. Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Requests can be sent to hello@aratravelplan.it. Individuals may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
8. Intellectual property
Original ARA materials — including guides, checklists, templates, roadmaps and systems — are provided for the client’s personal use. They may not be copied, distributed, resold or used commercially without permission. Rights in third-party materials and public-source information remain with their respective owners.
9. Service scope and additional requests
Each purchase includes only what is described for the selected service or package at the time of purchase. Additional support, extra revisions or assistance beyond the stated limits may be quoted separately and will not be charged without being communicated in advance.
10. Calls and appointments
Calls must be booked through the stated channels. A no-show or cancellation with less than 12 hours’ notice may be treated as a used call and may not be rescheduled free of charge, subject to mandatory consumer rights and any exceptional circumstances agreed with ARA.
11. Professional boundaries and regulated information
ARA is not a migration agency and does not provide personalised legal, tax or migration advice. ARA may research and explain public information, help clients organise their wider Australia plan and point them to official sources. Regulated or individual professional decisions should be taken with the relevant authority or a suitably qualified professional.
12. Referrals to third-party professionals
Where specialist migration advice is needed, ARA may refer clients to Otto Migration, a Sydney-based agency that provides authorised migration advice independently, or to other qualified professionals where appropriate.
Any advice or service supplied by a third-party professional forms a separate relationship between the client and that provider. ARA does not control or guarantee the provider’s advice, decisions or outcomes. Any referral benefit or discount code does not make ARA a migration adviser.
13. Delays, suspension and continuity
If unexpected circumstances affect ARA’s ability to provide the service, the client will be informed and ARA will seek a reasonable solution, including rescheduling where appropriate. Refunds or other remedies will be handled in line with these Terms and applicable consumer rights.
14. Applicable law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the United Kingdom, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that may apply in the client’s country of residence. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
